We had a tough, but productive beginning. We have started to adjust to our routines in third grade and I am certain that we will have an outstanding year. We have completed our fist round of State Assessment- REACH and MAP in Reading and Math. I will be sharing their scores individually with each of them and we will take about our goals for the next test which will be held in the winter. I shall sit with your child individually and together we will set a goal and an action plan to achieve it. Your cooperation in achieving that goal would be greatly appreciated.
Our open house was a big success as we had 70% of parents showing up which shows your interest in your child’s education. As I explained in the Open House, third grade is the benchmark grade, together we shall make it a successful school year!
